At the heart of the design is HMS Ocean, the Royal Navy ironclad frigate launched at Devonport Dockyard on 19 March 1863.
Built during an era when sail was giving way to steam, HMS Ocean represents the craftsmanship, innovation and naval traditions that helped shape Plymouth's identity. Combining vintage naval imagery, heritage-inspired typography and subtle Masonic symbolism, The Fleet brings together two proud traditions — the Royal Navy and Freemasonry.
